Once again the Teng Tools supported Team PSRX cars of Petter Solberg and team mate Johan Kristofferson were the stars of the show just two weeks ago at Lydden Hill in the UK. The two team mates absolutely dominated the meeting in their Teng Tools supported VW Polo Super cars. A performance that culminated in first and second in the final after each winning their semi-finals and taking the top two places in all but one of the four qualifying rounds.
This weekend the action moves to Hell in Norway which just happens to be the home track for Norwegian super star Petter Solberg and you can guarantee that there will be thousands of loyal Norwegian supporters full of expectation for a repeat of the team’s exceptional performance at the last round in the UK.
Those fans will be joined by a group of Teng Tools customers who will be making their presence felt with plenty of Teng Tools flags, T shirts and baseball caps on display in the grand stands. The Team PSRX cars and pit area also carry the famous Teng Tools eyes logo and of course the team rely on their Teng Tools to prepare and look after the car between races – activity that is often shown on the TV coverage.
The circuit itself will also see plenty of Teng Tools presence with track side advertising and the Teng Tools spotter tower where the team managers decide the race tactics as they call the joker laps! All on worldwide television with live coverage in many countries and numerous highlights programmes.
Everything combining to give that famous eyes logo plenty of exposure for the TV audience as well as those lucky enough to be at the track watching the action close up as over 50 WRX Super cars go head to head in Hell.
However, Hell hasn’t been kind to Petter Solberg and his PSRX Volkswagen World RX Team Sweden team-mate Johan Kristoffersson in past years, in fact neither of the drivers has won the World RX of Norway previously. Both are desperate to put that right this weekend.
“It’s true,” said Petter, “both Johan and I have never really shone in Norway and Sweden, so these next two events are so important to us. Yes, every round of the World Rallycross Championship offers the same number of points, but racing at home is special.”
You can see how they get on – follow the action live online and on television around the world with many countries providing live coverage as well as highlights programmes.
Qualifying 1/2: Saturday June 10th late morning/early afternoon
Qualifying 3/4: Sunday June 10th late morning
Semi-finals/Final: Sunday June 11th mid afternoon
There will be plenty of action and plenty of Teng Tools logos to see – if you have the time follow Petter and Johan and their Teng Tools supported WRX Super cars, it’s going to be well worth watching.
One final word from Petter to give you an idea of what to expect from the team–
“It’s enough to say I’m excited. We have made lots of small gains with the car since the start of the season and last time out at Lydden, you know what? We did not have one thing wrong with the car, not one. It was absolutely and completely perfect.”
