Teng Tools – Petter Solberg – Portugal – another victory?

Barcelona Petter

Teng Tools supported Petter Solberg had mixed fortunes in Barcelona but still fought back to take fourth place in the final – not a bad result for a brand new car! This weekend the World Rally Cross is in Portugal, a race that Petter won last year in his Teng Tools backed Citroen WRX Super car and the team are full of confidence as they prepare their new VW Polo for the famous Montalegre circuit in northern Portugal.

Teng Tools also play host to a group of 25 customers from Portugal who together with the many thousands of Petter Solberg fans will be cheering him on to victory. One or two will be lucky enough to watch the races from the Teng Tools spotter tower along with the team managers as they call the joker laps!

Petter came away from Barcelona very happy having seen both himself and team mate Johan Kristofferson make the final and score valuable points in the team championship – now the team move on to Portugal and Petter is looking forward to it –

“But this weekend is special. Portugal is a track I really enjoy and have a great success with in the last three years, let’s hope that carries on this time. Certainly, we come in good shape after a test ahead of the race.”   Follow the action live online and on television around the world with many countries providing live coverage as well as highlights programmes.

One last thought from Petter Solberg:

“PSRX likes Portugal. Actually scratch that. PSRX loves Portugal. Petter says: “The feeling of winning in front of that Portuguese crowd is unbelievable! This is a fantastic track and one where we have won twice in three years, but it can be tricky with the changeable weather.”
